Veterans I Am Here To Help

In honor of Veterans Day coming up on November 11th I salute all men, women and families that sacrifice for the freedoms we have in America.

In 1990 I was young when I volunteered to join the United States Navy. As a young man growing up in the Midwest I thought how exciting it would be to protect and serve my country while traveling the world. An honor many before me had done in my family.

The appeal I saw was also the military structure, the physical training and the attraction of the GI Bill.  For those unfamiliar with the GI Bill, it provides education assistance to servicemembers, veterans and their dependents by covering the cost of attending colleges, universities and trade schools.

With the assistance of the GI Bill I graduated college with an A.A. in Business Management which lead to a pursuit of studying at Walden University.

The military and college provided me the foundation to succeed. Both taught me to always do my best, follow up on what I say I’ll do and help others when I can.  Particularly the military taught me to always support our servicemembers.

So how do I support our servicemembers?

On top of my Texas Realtor license, I am a certified MRP (Military Relocation Professional) which means I have extensive training to help servicemembers and address their situations with housing. As a MRP I understand VA financing, military benefits, VA loan limits and Relocation requirements. I have helped many veterans & active servicemembers and jump at the opportunity to assist many more.  Allow me to help you with the purchase of your First or Next home with ZERO money down.

Contact me to discuss your VA Benefits and how I can be of service for you. Happy Veterans Day!

Is this program for active duty? or do you have to be retired? or someone who did their time and go out?
My mom was married to a veteran, can she use his benefits or did his benefits die with him?

      Hello Javier,

Yes is the answer to the first three questions!

The VA home loan program is available to active duty, retirees and veterans. The length of service, duty status and character of service determine the eligibility of loan benefits so all three of these groups can apply for a VA home loan.

In reference to your mother she may also be eligible for a VA home loan under certain conditions as a surviving spouse.

GET IN TOUCH and let’s talk about your specific situation. I love to help families of service members.

      Thank,
      Realtor Ray McCurty
